Ice skating

Not a great photo as it was taken with a phone indoors with numerous ice skaters hurtling at me!

'Tashe and Sunjo were naturals though, and Zanga is definately a natural when it comes to eating pizza, which is more my own forte come to think of it.

I bet it's warmer in Zambia

It looked very pretty but transport through the city was carnage: only 2 inches of snow but the most we've had here since 2003. By the way, this in not Toronto yet.

Bogie

I'm testing sending this by email so if it worked I'll send you all the
address to use and you should be able to just make a post by sending an
normal email +/- picture to it.
If you want to see some other pictures of Zambia click here or for my recent trip to Nepal click here.

It's got a roof!

Mum brought some pictures of developments at the farm and as you can see the new extension is looking pretty impressive.

We looked at the pictures from summer on boxing day and a couple of people commented that the extension is huge. I think the plan is that everyone can come and stay at the same time.

Mum is offering people the opportunity to buy windows, which sounds excellent, but put me down for a door.

Controlled fire

These are pictures from the summer. Dad and Greffan are burning the long grass so that there aren't uncontrolled fires later in the year.

Our new blog

We thought we'd set up a blog to help the family keep in touch with everyday life over the long distances from Zambia, the UK and North America.

These are photos from the new extension to the farm taken in the summer. There's a roof on it now and Mum will be posting more up to date pictures soon.

We put some pictures on http://20six.co.uk/backonthefarm
also but I think that eblogger may be a better host to go with, it seems to let you upload more pictures for free. Let us know what you think and post pictures and news of what's going on with you,
